Ni-kshay serves as a comprehensive ICT system designed to aid TB patient and TPT beneficiary management in India. This app facilitates both public and private healthcare providers in effectively managing their patients through a unified platform. The primary purpose of Ni-kshay is to streamline the processes involved in patient management, ensuring better healthcare delivery and monitoring.

Comprehensive Patient Management

Ni-kshay offers features such as patient entry, medical test details recording, treatment management, and outcome declaration. It also focuses on monitoring treatment adherence using mechanisms like 99DOTS and MERM. These capabilities allow healthcare providers to efficiently handle various patient management tasks, ensuring a structured and organized approach to TB care.

User Registration and Access

The app is accessible to users registered as a Health Facility or Peripheral Health institution under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. This ensures that only authorized healthcare practitioners can utilize the app for patient management, maintaining data security and integrity.

Ni-kshay does not support editing enrollment details, downloading reports, or Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) functionalities. This limitation requires users to manage these tasks outside the app. Nevertheless, Ni-kshay remains a crucial asset for healthcare providers in streamlining TB patient management.
